   I planted the two seeds in two pots. How long will it take for the sprout to emerge from the soil? And how much water should I be giving them the first few days?

   Keep soil moist but not saturated and being as you did not germinate the seeds prior to planting expect 7+ days for sprout to emerge rom soil.
