I don't know if this necessarily belongs here, but it gets more attention than the health forum, from more members....So I figured this was a sure bet.... I'm feeling icky....not really sick....just icky.... My tummy feels tight....so much so that it hurts a little bit sometimes... And I'm nauseous part of the day, especially at work with all the strong colognes and such. I'm really tired....It could be the excitement lately from all of the full weekends and work weeks.... What does this sound like to anyone? I don't have insurance and a trip to the doctor would cost an arm and a leg...I would like to know maybe what I could posibly have and how to make it go away... I've been feeling like this for about a week now...
it sounds like stress to me, but then my body does tend to take stress out on itself physically, where I do get nauseous and cramp up in my stomach. I definitely get exhausted and gross feeling when stressed out too.
oh good god, I don't think so....My last period was only 2-1/2 or three weeks ago....and I don't think it would all start happening this soon would it?
I don't know if it's stress....I never stress out easily, so if it is, this is a new form of stress to me....not to mention, life is going well now, so I don't think I'm stressed...
Take a test, if it is negative and if you still feel crappy in an other week take an other test. It could be a weird virus, sometimes you feel like crap for weeks with these. Blessings. I hope you are OK, sweetie.
yeah baby was the first thing that came to mind, but it does seem really quick. I would take a test just to be sure. are you on the pill or taking anything?
it's not too quick. i get sick within days of becoming pregnant. it depends on how sensitive you are to hormones.
maybe you preggers, stressed or your body might be getting ready for your next period. ive never been pregnant so i dunno. i have been stressed to the point of trying to commit suicide and thats exactly how i felt but had shit running and re running through my head. and sometimes 2 weeks before i get my period i feel like the ickyness your feeling but only mildly so it could be anything. go and buy a pregnancy test
Yeah cause you know it's hard for us to determine over the internet as to whether you're preggers or not.
yeah, I don't think I'm pregnant....just no way....I mean, there is a way...but not this quickly would I be showing signs or anything.... I'll wait until I miss my period, if I even do....and then I'll take a test... Until then, I hope this ickiness goes away....
I don't think ^ (that) is cool. I don't really understand the feeling your describing. I felt that way before when I was sick, or when I was at a vet place. Being around all those animals made me really uncomfortable, and when I saw them cut this thing on a cat, I started hyperventilating. I knew then I was not meant to be a doctor or vet. It could be something around where you are, you could be sick. You've only had this for a few days?
are you a vegetarian? i used to be anemic from not getting enough iron or protein and i felt that way sometimes, especially under high stress situations. i would be really exhausted and want to sleep a lot... it's just a thought, if you are a vegetarian maybe buy some iron supplements or something?! you can also check the inside of your lips and pull your bottom eyelash down, i think if they are pale then that could be a sign of anemia... hope you feel better
Hon, if you aren't pregnant and this continues, please see a doctor. There are some really fatiguing viruses around and the sooner they get treated, the better.
I will definitely be seeing a doctor if I am pregnant or not....I'm no fool... But honestly, this thread freaked me out a bit...and Brian was a bit weirded out too... I didn't even consider this a possibility.... but I'm probably not....so we will see Oh yeah, this is holly again, btw....
Are you on any kind of birth control? If not, getting pregnant is ALWAYS a possiblity when having sex. But since the chances are slim, I'd say you have a flu like virus, and if it continues another day, try to see a doctor right away. So, take the pee test, try to get some rest, drink lots of fluids and see a doctor if it persists. Hope you feel better soon!
