and might as well put this in this thread:
anyone know the easiest way to take tabs for one instrument, and write tabs for another instrument? hm.. not sure if that makes sense. Dulcimer only has so many tabs to play.. i want to take guitar music, and figure out how to play those songs on the dulcimer.. but i have a lot less strings... so i dont know how. (i dont count this as basic music skills)

basically, you have to take the tab, and from each note in tab, translate it into an actual note (a to g), then stick it back into tab.

Are dulcimers tuned in semi-tones or demi-semi-tones?
