oh no!!

so i went into the tattoo place today, my appointment is made for november!!! arghhh!! i'm scared!!! i'm such a wimp!!! lol

on another note, it was kinda kewl when i told him that my uncle is a tattoo artist in another province and the guy knew my uncle by name!! wow, i guess uncle larry must be pretty damn good!!! too bad he's too far away to do mine.

I'm getting it in november cuz the place is booked that far in advance (good sign in my books)
i brought in the design that i want and the guy said to think about getting it somewhere other than my neck, easier to cover with clothes, just so i dont run the risk of getting my butt kicked by racist people etc....
oh yeah, i left the pic with the guy and he's gonna play with it...

heehee ok. well i've had the pic for a year and since i still like it, i should be safe. also it has personal meaning for me.

i'm stuck on where else to put it. i dont want it to be hanging out anywhere, and i definetly don't want it on my lower back.... ideas? plz!!

 

Is the photo actual size? If so, try a shoulder blade (someplace you can uncover by wearing a tank top, when you want to show it off), or on your upper arm, above the line covered by a regular t-shirt.

Also, check out the guy you made the appointment with, Canada must have a version of the Better Business Bureau. If he's telling you that you might want to reconsider the design, he may have neo-Nazi leanings himself (lots of tattoo artists do), the swastika is a very popular design. Do the design displays on his walls or in the catalogs in his shop have a lot of neo-Nazi designs? Were I you, I'd make an appointment with someone who didn't caution me about wearing such a tattoo - that set off alarm bells for me.

 

no, the tattoo is gonna be smaller, probably a few inches in diameter.

the guy only told me to think about it hard cuz he wanted to make sure that i knew what i was getting, he didn't tell me not to get it, he just said that if it's in a place like my neck then i would have lots of trouble doing things like having a job with short hair, travelling to places like palestine, getting married in a catholic church etc.... I like it that he didn't just say ok... lets go. that would be a big no no for me.
there are no designs on the walls, its a custom shop, he only does custom designs.

Well, that make sense, I guess. I'd still advise a shoulder blade. They hurt more, because it's so close to the bone, but they are easy to cover.

 

ya lost me right at the words hurt and more!! lol. i'm allready scared as it is!! lol.
