I just lost my LSD and Mushroom connect for the summer due to a series of unfourtunate events Plus Im going to run out of what I have in about 2 weeks What ever shall I do???
hahahaha, I never got why people even bothered using "SWIM" But yea, seriously if you have some free time you should come down to valley forge park, its a very nice place to trip mushrooms for a day, you could even bring your son
Yea, Ill see what I can do saturday maybe cause Ive got finals coming up, but if not this weekend I have about 3 months free after that
No goa parties? That must be annoying.. they're pretty fun, and we have a lot of them in the Netherlands.
Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a goa party?! Maybe I just never heard the term??? Or maybe I went to one and tripped so hard that I forgot it happened?!
GOA is a type of trance music. GOA parties are quite fun Alas, there really arn't many in the US that I know of. I went to one earlier this year in london.
Oh wow Im out of the loop  Thanks for the knowledge John. Trance eh? Can you suggest some ?! btw, you ever listen to Alice Coltrane : Journey In Satchidananda? If not, you should Beautiful stuff, and Pharoah Sanders just simply trancends
Ill certainly give it a try, but as far as trance goes theres abunch of kinds, but you can sort of split it into trance and ambient. Ambient is just more technical and relaxing. Really good trance is stuff like Infected Mushroom, Hallucinogen, some Raja ram and stuff lke that. Shpongle is probably my favorite music (more ambient than trancelike) to listen to at the moment, its beutiful The latter half of the album Tales of the Inexpressible is great to listen to on Mushrooms Mystery of the Yeti is good Celtic Cross And actually ratatat doesnt really fit in with the others but its good just the same
Im going to check them all out man! THanks Alice stuff is pretty trancey in a way, its Indian style fuzed with jazz. I think its amazing, and that people into that style NEED to hear it. Also, the albums Blue Lake and Orient by Don Cherry are my favorite world music/jazz. Don Cherry on trumpet, piano, and vocals (though they are more like african, turkish, and indian chants) Johnny Dyani on Bass, and Okay Temiz on drums. NO ONE I have ever heard comes close to Okay on drums man, but you have to hear to see what I mean and the albums are very, very rare.
Heya Krsna and asilos. I've been following your posts in a few threads for a bit, and I'm really interested in your musical tastes. You both seem pretty genuinely awesome, so I figure it's something worth looking into . If either if you feel like taking the time to send me a PM about some styles/genres and specific artists I'd love to hear what you have to say. Just to stay on topic and not hijack the thread...hope you find another source and have fun if you hang out with Krsna .
