oh god... i got caught

hi everyone. well im new here but havent posted until tonight... my dad came home while i was smoking pot and he caught me... well by the time he walked in the room, i managed to hide everything except the smell. wow im typing pretty cohorently even in my stoned/scared shitless stage. so he got all suspicious and said i know what one is when i smell it and i kept denying it and playing dumb but he doesnt believe me. oh god im so scared right now. im asian... i have asian parents.. i cant be caught doing anything bad.. theyll fucking skin me alive and make sure i never go anywhere again. im still not regreting smoking it, but i wish i wouldve been more careful. hopefully i can make them believe me since i have high grades and they think onyl stupid people smoke. anyways im sorry for going on so long but i just need to rant and rave.

now.. i need some info on how to cheat on a drug test. im a complete newbie to this so detail would be nice. i also need maybe excuses or reasons or anything at all i can tell my parents???? oooh man im so scared.

 

youl could have covered it up by pretending youd made some very spicy food for lunch? lol


but anyway, hehe i remember now, time when i had sat down on teh side of the road and began to load a pipe when who do i see 20 metres away walking toward me? my mum. im so lucky i saw her then...

im in high school and no i dont have a tutor.. im getting into 3 honor classes next year.. so im somewhat intelligent. crap im so busted. my mom goes psycho and i cant leave for another 3 years since im underage.

 

Just go on the offensive. Totally get pissed. I know it sounds crazy but it will work. Be all timid at first and then just "YOU KNOW WHAT?! I DONT NEED THIS SHIT! I MAKE GOOD GRADES AND WORK HARD IN SCHOOL SO I CAN GET INTO A GOOD COLLEGE AND GET A GOOD JOB AND I DONT NEED YOU GUYS HASSLING ME WITH YOUR SUSPISIONS ALL THE TIME! DO I ACT LIKE A STONER?! DO STONERS MAKE GOOD GRADES?! YOU GUYS ARE ONLY STRESSING ME OUT AND MAKING IT HARDER FOR ME TO FOCUS ON SCHOOL! I'M GETTING STRESSED OUT AND DEPRESSED CAUSE OF THIS!" then walk off and if they try to stop you just say that you can't talk about it right now. Dude it will send them back a peg or too. Be sure to hide your shit cause they will search.

or do what i do when my parents ask me if i smoke...use like a reverse psychology...when they say do you smoke you look them dead in the eye and in a really flat sarcastic voice say yes i do...then roll your eyes like the very idea is retarted...

they will believe what they want to believe anyway...but yeah...hide your shit...cuz they will search...leave it w/ a friend for a while or something...if there is no physical evidence, they cant prosecute you...

Dont worry man I got busted once by my rents, it was bad for a couple of weeks, but it will all blow over, just sit it out.

 

but ya know even if it does blow over...you still (well atleast i do anyways) think in the back of your mind that they still hate you for it and shit like that

 

I've never been afraid of being hated when my father has caught me. He has caught me like five times. Not really a big deal though, but today my very straight edge 7th grade sister said her friends told her I smoke pot. Since I'm five years older than her, and dont really connect with her I didn't know how to reply. She seemed a little sad though.

 

i remember when i got caught sometime in april, my mom found a pot bag, and luckily it was empty but she smelled it, and asked me. so i was just like, mom i can't believe you would think there was pot in that, i'm not that kind of kid....why would i do that? ...she fell for it and now she thinks i'm straight edge.

 

well, here's a weird suggestion, but maybe you could level with your parents and tell them the truth?

shit, i know my parents smoked. they grew up in the 60s for chrissakes!

if that won't work, deny, deny, and more deny. and they WILL search through your stuff... they probably already have.

one of my only virtues is honesty. i wouldnt lie to my mum if i was caught. she smokes. i could even use it as a guuilt tactic like 'if tis anyones fault im a failure, its yours, you pothead u got me into smoking'/ of course thats not true. but anywya.

i will try to not get caught for jsut one more year (till highschool is finnished) then as soon as the hsc (our final school exams, the climax of the last bloody 12 years) is finnished im gonna go light a joint or bong right in front 'o her.
its jsut if she finds out before hand, then shell always connect any work failures of mine or lack of will power to do work wioth the weed. which isnt true since ive had thsoe problems long before starting lol.

 

I know how it is having Asian parents (well, one Asian parent)... if your parents are like my uber-traditional Chinese mother they probably won't listen to any reasoning regarding smoking pot, though feel free to try. My mother's knowledge of drugs is incredibly limited and naive and basically boils down to the simple equation of drugs=illegal=bad. I'd hide all of my shit with a friend, and there's plenty of info online for thwarting drug tests.

 

Ive been caught many times, just last nite I was scraping my pipe and then I heard walking, which I thought wuz my bro but it wuz my mum, so, I went to the offensive and said something I thought I couldnt, here it is:

"You know wut, I smoke weed and Im proud of it, I like it and Im always gonna smoke it, you guys cant make me quit and if u send dad up here Im packin my shit and leavin, Id rather live on the street than have my dad squeeze the information on who I get it from out of me, Im never gonna quit"

Then I walked off and all she said wuz:
"put ur pipe n shit away before ur father gets up here"

werent the chinese meant to be like the biggest opium smokers tho? and the thai the biggest coke sniffers? and the indians some major cone punchers? asians have culture very attuned to the use of drugs. you guys shud be more accepting.

lol but yer i know thats not teh case, with friend's asian parents. fucking anoying they are. jsut remember tho, you too are going to be an asian parent one day unless of course you smoke your balls off

 

Traditional Asian parents aren't likely to tolerate drug use (of course, what traditional parents are?), and often anything that breaks the law is a definite no-no, no questions asked. Asian parents aren't always anal-retentive and strict, but in my own experience and having met parents of Asian friends, they sure tend to be.

Also, if anything the prevalence of opium in China's past and the other Asian drug cultures are a reason why Asian countries tend to be really harsh when it comes to drug laws. If you know anything about the drug laws in China, Japan, Thailand, and most other Asian countries, you would know that they tend to be real hardasses with drugs (though they focus on drugs harder than cannabis). In particular the Chinese tend to resent their history of opium addiction - it was what the British used to gain leverage in the tea trade and eventually extort them.

 

my friends and all our parents know we smoke. they hate it and they try to discourage us, but we still do it. yesterday my dad found a pipe, and then just shook his head and pu it back. they know i can handle it. im a fucking eagle scout for fucks sake. they just dont want me to get picked up by the cops. but with piss tests, ive passed two at drug counseling from an arrest. what you do is run a whole lot, then drink alot of water before tested. when running you sweat the THC stored in your fat cells.

 

I didn't get caught smoking - I told my mom..she was cool with it and now I'm allowed to smoke .. but I don't think she likes the fact that I smoke. She says I'm "obsessed with it" and it's "all I talk about" when it really gets brought up by her in conversations similar to this one:

My mom: Well I'll quit smoking cigarettes when you quit smoking pot. At least what I smoke is legal.

If I were you, I would either explain to them that you can smoke it responsibally and it's not effecting your work or study habits, and until it becomes a problem (which it won't) your not going to quit.

 

The problem with me is that I'm not a good liar. If my mom asked me if I smoked pot (which she has), I'd just bust out laughing and would have to leave the room before I could stop laughing. I'm laughing while typing this. When I ask to go to a friends house where there will be pot, I start laughing while I'm asking. I dont know what it is, but since I started smoking pot, I start laughing while I'm around my parents.

I have a friend who, when asked by his mom what we're doing, tells her things like "we're gonna go score some coke". The funny thing is she knows we smoke. My friend knows she knows too, but they both continue to pretend they don't know.

 

Oh I just have to say, I've seen my friend's mother stoned once. That is one of the funniest things you can witness in life : your best friend's mom completely stoned. My friend's sister's son asked to be picked up by her. "oohhh man I don't think I should pick you up right now" she said.
