Circadian means being, having, characterized by, or occurring in approximately 24 hour periods or cycles; in relation to sleep cycles.

A biological activity with a periodicity of 24 hrs that is independent of environmental variation

taken from the Latin words meaning "around" and "day"

of or relating to biological processes occurring at 24-hour intervals; "circadian rhythms"

    ...I still dont know

...oh, in simple terms, circadian rhythm basically boils down to this: falling asleep early in the evening often results in waking up early in the morning. On the opposite side, falling asleep late in the evening often results in waking up much later in the morning (or afternoon). This is without the use of alarm clocks.

well, then in that case, my circadian rhythm has been about the same for 4 years. Falling asleep late at night and waking up late in the day is how i live. Then again, on school days i sleep late, but wake up early, but it never seems to distrupt my circadian rhythm...i hope im using that word right :D

reversing your sleep time and awake time. so now, assuming you were going to bed at 10pm and waking up at 10 am, you would be going to bed at 10am to wake up at 10pm. becoming nocturnal, for most people, involves reversal of circadian rhythyms.
