the threads about 'why do women complain more today then ever' thread made me think about how much women today need even more voices complaining, untill things chage enough that theres not much left worth complaining about

so here's your place to complain about all things male in a male dominated society

    have fun with it:)

i hate the assumption that because i was cute and had huge tits that all i was good for was fucking. i hated that it was assumed that all the guys were making the assumption that i got a promotion because my boss was tappin' it.

    you're the best soaringeagle!
i'm gonna complain about guys at bars who can't take a fucking hint. those creepy guys that keep hitting on you NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES you tell them you have a boyfriend. those guys who think they're hot shit. guys who lie about their age to make themselves look younger. gimme a break! i'm just sick of going out with my girls and guys and having these obnoxious men hit on me all night to no avail. can't they take the hint the first or second time?! i swear the other night i had to tell this guy about 10 times that i SIMPLY wasn't interested in his bullshit!
grrr that's my rant. i know it's not really pertaining to equality in women and men, but i just had to rant about these obnoxious barflies.

I wish men could be more like women sometimes.... Like when I'm sick and I want my boyfriend to sit on the side of the bed with me and stroke my hair and whisper sweet things into my ear, fix me a sandwich and some juice, lol, like I do for him in an instant if he's sick and usually even when he's not!!!

but I have to fish him off the x-box and tell him if he doesn't give me any kisses and sit with me for at least 5 minutes I'm gonna kick his ass!!!!!!!

men who treat females like property. men who think just because they are bigger than a female they can toss her around or have his way with her. manipulators. men who can conceive a child but cant step up.

i think its futile to want someone to be something they arnt ......i wish people would just stand up and be what they are instead of hiding stalling evadeing ect ...theres always things i think people are capable of doing or understanding ....but instead of being disapointedat their not doing so , i feel its better to be amazed at what they actualy do

I can't say that I actually have any complaints about men in particular that I can think of... All the stuff I could think of could equally apply to women.

In response to Crystal's comments... I often joke (to my fiance) that my fiance is the woman in this relationship. He does most of the cooking and cleaning, while I go mow the yard and build things in the garage! We're doing the long-distance thang for now, but I'm going to spend turkey day break (we get the whole week off, plus I'm leaving a few days early) at his house. I warned him that I will have to have a period while I'm there (I do extended bc because the cramps are so bad, my doc recommended not having a period every month). He said he was glad. I was like, wtf, you expect the guy to complain at least a little bit (or at least jokingly give me shit), since that's a couple of days of not getting laid (due to my pain) plus the PMS... But, no, he'd rather I have my period there, where he can take care of me, than at home where he can't do anything to help me!

    He's so weird [IMG]

My boyfriend does that sometimes. Tho I do admit I feel alittle bit of envy for you, considering all I want from him right now is to baby me.... But he makes up for it in other ways :) Mostly just one but he does it very well ;)

haha I know I complain about him sometimes on here. I guess when I'm happy with everything I don't feel the need to get on the internet and tell everyone. I vent my negative feelings on this forum, 1 to see if anyone understands, and 2 you all broaden my awareness and perspective on what I'm feeling and dealing with. Sometimes I take alittle more to his side and understandings and sometimes I reaffirm my own and get the courage to stand up for them and the way I want to be treated.

There is no perfect man, just like there is no perfect woman. Noone's prepackaged for anyone else. I guess that would be boring.

Guys that are afraid of love. Guys that cheat, rape, yell, hit, dominate and intimidate, lie. Guys that tell women what to do. Guys that like to fight. Guys that make me afraid to walk the streets alone at night. Guys that abused my mum verbally, physically, emotionally and financially. Guys that tell women exactly what they want to hear before they move on the next woman. Guys that stand around with their buddies and degrade the women they claim to love behind her back. Guys that said I could call them dad and then just left. Guys that manipulate young girls into sex and drugs.

Basically just the predatory ones. The mean ones.

I know that most of the male gender is not that way.

I don't have complaints about men in general. In fact, I get along better with men than I do women.

I just really dislike how society portrays women and how in order to be "beautiful" to society you have to be a size 0. I hate that.

I really hate to complain about someone that is so wonderful to me that I just can't begin to tell how; there are so many ways & so much that he does.

The thing is... I found out tonight from our friend that he has decided to have Thanksgiving at his house. He & I are going to cook there. Last I knew I was having it here @ mine. :banghead:I even talked to him earlier today about it. I talked with him that I had to get going on cleaning up my apartment. so I could do Thanksgiving. I just couldn't cook a turkey & all the trimmings at his house. I need a full fledged kitchen any more to do that right. He has a very limited one. Oh, sure I did just fine when my first person to becalm an ex spouse & lived in a Gavan & then moved into a nice cabin with wood stove & outhouse. I was younger then. My friend has electricity & a hotplate & a gas grill outside. A great bachelor pad. I have no clue how he figures we are going to roast a Turkey anywhere. Maybe he can do one on his grill but I sure can't. I don't think & sure hope he isn't planning on hauling my smoker there. He lives 40 miles away & although it likely would fit wonderfully in his truck I just don't want to do that. I suppose I could use my Nesco, I've done that many times but I was so thinking of an oven roasted perfection with a nice glaze, plenty of potatoes, & gravy. Not to mention pies & veggies. We have to coordinate with my daughter going to my exes too that day. I don't want to get that far away she can easily walk between now with one of us walking with her.

ARRG! But he's so sweet that I know I'm not going to stay mad very long. I just cant. It's impossible. He is more than going to make up for it. I know we will work this out in the end.

the conflicts between women and men are based on communication. When women send megamessages they are not direct; whereas, men are extremely direct. Men do not use social ques that tell women that they are paying attention, so women get pissed even if the man is paying attention. haha for paying attention in anthropology.

I don't have any complaints about any men in particular, at least none of the ones who are worth worrying about anyway. I often wish my husband were more intuitive, but it's usually a good thing that he's so down to earth, kinda keeps me from drifting off into outer space. I do have lots of complaints about how our society in general is totally unaware of the misogyny that is still everywhere around us today, how it is perpetuated by the government, organized religions, and public schools, and by the media's manipulation of people's minds. I hate it when bigots (all of them, not just the ones who hate women) get really defensive when you point out their bigotry to them, denying what/who they are. I hate it that I am afraid to speak with my elderly next door neighbor because the next sexist or racist remark out of his mouth might push me over the edge and I'll have to go off on him. I hate it that voicing hateful ideas like his is totally socially acceptable in some circles.

I hate how the word commitment can make a man leave a good thing or make hurtful remarks. I wish men knew a good thing when they had it and that they would take steps to keep it instead of assuming they would stay.
