I used to live in a very liberal town but a year ago moved to Republicunt city. Is it just me or are people offended by the peace symbol/sign? I wear a small silver peace symbol necklace as well as a small peace symbol gold ring on my left pinky, and it seems like some people are actually offended by it! :cuss:
that's because the media portrays the peace sign as the "Victory" sign and that reminds everyone of vietnam and "them dirty fucking hippies" so they gawk and sigh and automatically reject the notion that you can live in balance with this planet, and you don't need to be such a mother fucking zombie!
I wouldnt let it bother you too much , when I was leaving Cali years ago some silly person was trying to get all he crosses taken down saying that the sight of them was offensive....some people need to have something to hate.
republicans generalt are christiansd with an agenda.. the agenda of the christians are many ofcourse they want to control all tell you what u can and cant do with your body and mond but they also want to prove theyre faith right..the only way to rerally prove themselves right short of an imagibary man comming back from the dead would be for the world to end..armhegedon proveschristian republicans were right (sorta, at least right aboiut the end of the world comming) so peace is absoluteluy the last thing they want it offends them thayt you would work towards a world that wont self destrucyt think about it christianty always talks about the prince of peace and all that but do u ever see a peace sign being woen by 1? no and in fact its all talk about fire and brimstine and endless torment (1 war afytrt another endlessly tillwe finaly get the job done and self destruct) the peace sign was originaly reversed upside down, it was the broken cross which i think was a gnostic symbol maybe i'm trying to find info on it now but only comminfg up with a couple books about surripyion in the vatican and a couple 100 year old sileny films i dont know alot about the origins but if thats correct then it sytandsto reason that the broken cross is a symbol of the end odf christianity and the beginnings of peace but i dont really have enough info to really make that statement so kinda just guessing in otherwords to republicands peace is bad, it disproves theyre beliefs because it does not lead to armhegedon war is good because it will eventualy destroy the world and kill evertyone ..they want everyone to die so as is theyre beluefe theycan go sit on a cloud while everyone else os toen apaty and burned in agonuy forever.. this is theyre greattest desure..to sit on a clousd and say..see i told you so..while all humanity suffers.. so they do all they can to lead us in that direection..how dare you wear a symbol of peace when they striggle for destruction? your theyre enemy just for wanting peace and spreeading love namaste

when i was a small impressionable child, i wore a peace sign necklace to my baptist youth group, and i was told that the peace sign was a broken cross and therefore unchristian and hurtful of our lord. or some BS like that. that might be it.
alright cause some people don't really like the way those stores portray the peace sign as some fashion logo...and thats why some people might get offended

I live in a very conservative "city"... it's really the same country people but with taller buildings... anyway I have no prob with the peace sign... the only thing I hate about the people here that wear the peace sign is that it is always the most angry and violent people you know
