A woman was charged with cruelty to animals after leaving a puppy without water or air in a vehicle.

On Sunday afternoon, a shopper in the Wal-Mart parking lot saw a puppy in a green Ford Taurus who appeared to be overheated.

According to police she had a Wal-Mart employee page the owner of the dog while she went to get water for the animal. According to the witness, after numerous pages the woman did not respond.

Police were called to the scene, found the owner and charged her with cruelty to animals for leaving the puppy in a car on a 82-degree day.

 

I was in a walmart parking lot once (about 10pm), and heard this car alarm going off. As I got closer to the car, I noticed a little girl 5 years old sitting there crying. Then I saw that an infant was in the back seat. I got the police and they didn't do anything as far as I know. Blah.

 

geez, who would leave kids unattended in a car??

 

after multiple pagings she still didn't come? jeez, and i thought the wal-mart shoppers in central VT were bad

 

And to think most of the stuff you'll find in Walmart today is made by people who eat dogs.

One thing I had just noticed at our Super Wally is they are only carrying Tyson Meat (Pork, Chicken and Beef) in there fresh meat section. Prices are high and the beef tastes like it is salted. Now I know the 3 Arkansas boys (WalMart, Tyson and JB Hunt) have been helping each other out for some time nw but yeah.

Yup, got some steak and some chicken boobies the other day from there.

 

sometimes i have a hard time getting some meat from Stoppies, but i don't know abotu wally world...only thing wally world is useful for is cheap DVD's...

aw poor puppy. thats horrible. I feel bad even if I leave my cat outside for too long on a hot day, let alone in a car with no water for who knows how long. yet another reason why walmart must die.
