Obama on cannabis (before/after)

I came across this while on YouTube and doing a little research,

Pre-presidency(2004):

Notice how he says "the war on drugs has been an utter failure" and he says "we need to rethink and decriminalize our marijuana laws"

Why did he go back on his opinion? This makes me so furious, he clearly states "we need to rethink and decriminalize our marijuana laws" then before he runs for president he goes back on his opinion.

Now he changed his position on Medical Marijuana, he went from telling us the citizens he wouldn't go after the MM industry to attacking the MM industry.


Just leave a comment saying whatever, I'm personally sick of Obama flip-flopping and can't wait for the upcoming election (Ron Paul 2012!!!)

Ron Paul would allow states to legalize it, or make it a capital offense- or whatever the state legislature decides. I think most of the southern states will choose the latter.

 

Ron Paul wouldn't be able to change anything either...... DEA and those funding it and reaping it's benefits has this deal locked up for now.

 

Didn't he go back on a promise to close Guantanamo Bay Detention Centre as well?.

 

I remember the last election where I talked 'til I was blue in the face to folks about how Obama would not legalize and/or decriminalize cannabis. My words fell upon deaf ears. Now, at least out here in CA, we're seeing a federal backlash where the Feds are shutting down dispensaries, seizing property, and basically ruining peoples' lives. Yeah...."Hope and Change"...right.

 

Obama is an empty suit politician, that's why. I mean, DUH!!!

Everything the guy has promised, he has later went against. Just another corporate/banker NWO terrorist. That is what Obama is. Everything about the man is a lie.
