You know, if i wanted to, i could hound your posts, pointing out misspellings, incorrect usage of grammar, etc.

BUT WHY??? Crap like that is just ugly, and there's NO SENSE in it! People DO have reasons for doing the things they do, the way they do them, and what's the point of just slicing and dicing on someone, trying to bleed them of who they are? i just don't get it...

 

Trouble is, that its not a big deal. All of our supposedly good goverment types are pooh pooing the whole ACORN deal. Acorn receives goverment grants and should be a subject of interest. Espically if goldfish are being registered to vote.

I would like to see media act as a check against executive power. That is the system we have had for the past 4 years. If the media is acting like People Magizine we all lose.

Skewed by how much and based on what? Show some objective data that supports this, if there is any out there, as opposed to allegorical accounts of an employee of an abortion clinic or gay person accused of voter registration fraud.

It would be useful to have data that shows the effect of fraud on election outcome. It would also be useful to know how much suppression of legitimate voters occurs as a result of trying to eliminate fraud. There is a tradeoff between the two. Thousands of legitimate voters could be barred from voting for the sake of a politically motivated legal intervention of the voting process to try to eliminate a few cases of fraud (which may be portrayed by a political group as 'massive' fraud).

Some idiot at the RNC accidentally emailed their vote caging lists to www.georgewbush.org which is an anti Bush website instead of the. com address.

We need to replace Acorn with an organization that has a parallel mission but much better oversight.

And we can't let Republicans try to change the results on the shaky premise that this fraud has the potential to change election results. They are using the mess that is Acorn as an excuse to disenfranchise legitimate voters.
