Oasis...

I'd like to dedicate this thread to my favourite modern band Oasis. The only band I truly like that are still going now.

I don't care what people say, Liam and Noel I love you both very much x x x

 

I might be a bit behind in the times.
But has anyone heard about one of oasis brothers forming new group with george harrisons son?

 

Oasis aren't just Noel and Liam you know.

oasis are one of the best modern bands. Their last albums are not as good as Definitely Maybe or Morning Glory, but still great.

 

Yeah... they have a good songs or two, but most of thier stuff is rather messageless mainstream shite.

Champaign Supernova was defenetly a good song... They do have good vocals, and catcy music, yet it is not "quality".

yeah, oasis is a great band. I've got their what's the story (morning glory) album. Stll sounds awesome after almost 10 years.

 

I'm a huge fan of their early stuff, back in the day when they had something to sing about and took lots of drugs. Sadly they grew up and started writing shite.

 

Oasis are greatest thing ever. Just look at the username for godsake!

And yes, Oasis actually are Noel and Liam. Think about it - everyone else is totally replaceable. I still Bonehead, Guigsy and Whitey were still around though. Bell and Archer, while good musicians, are not rock n' roll the way the old crew were. The Gallaghers, however, are gods.

Now I'm going to go listen to Columbia and revel in their greatness.

 

Good band, Live I really wish they would sitch the second guitarist as it just washes out the whole sound with distortion.

Still a cool band to see though.

Glad to see so many other Oasis fans out here. I always get shit on for loving them so much.....Whats the Story? was the first cd i ever bought! Champagne Supernova is my favorite song of all time, and definitely going to be my wedding song some day Oasis rocks my socks right off.

 

I sang C Supernova at a karoke abr last week, it was great!

 

I have What's the Story. It's a great album for learning how to play basic guitar solos. And also for just listening to of course. I want Definitely Maybe.

You don't need to take lots of drugs to produce good music.

all joking aside whats the story is a really cool album. i used to listen to it all the time back in the day.
