NWGA pieces

Just got done smokin a J so i figured id show y'all what pipes i've got.....from northwestglassart.com anyway .............Portable - 3"(freebie), Sherlock - 3.5"(freebie), Dichroic Droop, Alien moonlock, Baby sherlock(blue), just ordered Sherlock Bubbler(red). They have great service, and very nice, thick, pieces. A++ for them.

thanks man, the baby sherlock is OK....more of a one person bowl, which gets used quite frequently . The best one probably is the Dichroic Droop....it has a fairly good sized bowl, and a huge carb hole. So you get great hits and a fair amount of weed per bowl. Im hoping the sherlock bubbler will be a fairly decent one......just got shipped today so we'll see when it gets here. Most of their pieces kick ass and are at a fair price so, don't expect anything less on this order .

 

forgot to add the super stealthy shipping, and awsome shipping times.....usually recieve the order in 2 days after it's shipped (live in the midwest). All orders come in a plain jane brown box and instead of northwestglassart on the box it just says NWGA, even on your bank statement it just says NWGA and the price. Very great company, highly recommended.

 

Their glass is shit quality. The pictures on their site look nothing like the pipes when you get them. I got one & was so pissed about the quality, I was gonna smash it. I even sent them e-mails with no responce. Search the forums you'll find more on them. They are even on that consumer rip-off alert website ( I can't remember the name of the site). I hope your pipes come as discribed, but I highly doubt they will.

 

i've ordered from them before, and it wasn't exactly like the picture, but the quality of the few i have from them are excellent quality. Wich one did you get 420?

 

I hope you didn't get any of that from that thread I created a while ago about them... I did that and posted a lot of bullshit about them cause I was pissed. it was simply because I didnt like the colors, and it looked kinda ugly when I first got it (before the colors came out). however, once it changed, it looked amazing. and the quality???? the thing is a quarter inch thick of completely clear, heavy glass (of course its very colorful UNDER the glass though). it cost me 35 afte shipping, and I've had people tell me its worth anywhere in between 80 and 120. and they know a lot more than I do, so... yeah.

I'm curious though OP, do you have any pics of your own? I think this would be a lot more convincing if you took some of them, instead of using their pics... kind makes you seem like an advertiser to some people, me included.

 

I think I posted in that. I got the crayola luccito spoon. It came with little crack by the carb. I called them & e-mailed them and they told me there's nothing they can do. Yea it's thick, but that don't mean shit. The colors look like shit. The pipe was discribed wrong on the site. It's the uglyest pipe I own. There's a pipe shop a couple miles from my house that blows glass in house. I usually buy from them, but this pipe caught my eye. I even tried selling it to my friends. Not even one offered to take it. Fuck NWGA.

 

haha that sucks man... I've had a few people offer to buy mine, but I don't want to sell it. What kind of colors is yours? mine is a lot of rainbow colors (looks trippy, but some dont like it) with a few dichro worm things.

here are the pics of the baby sherlock and the latticino spoon or whatever its called. Now i know the latticino doesn't look anything like the describe on the website (wich really sucks, the one on the site looks awsome), but it is described fairly accurate. Nice and thick, huge carb hole, bunch of bright colors (when its resined up). The baby sherlock tho looks exactly like the picture on the site. It's a fairly small pipe tho. Ill get pics of the others as soon as i find them....i rarely use them. Sorry for the scanned pics.......and sorry if they're huge.

 

Ok that last pic was the baby sherlock, and the dichroic droop. These are, the alien moonlock, which looks exactly like the picture on the site, and the portable 3" (which is a thinner glass but it was also a freebie....so can't expect much.) I couldn't find the 3.5" sherlock (it was a freebie aswell so its not the best quality). The sherlock bubbler should be here on monday......ill try to get up pics of it asap.

 

whats up with the carb on the moonlock one? is that just the light or is it cracked or is it just a lot of resin? i like the yellow spoon a lot, looks really thick too, and depending on whats up with the carb on the moonlock one, thats pretty nice also.

 

The colors are (and theres not that many) orange, white, blue glitter strips. I won't even call them snake looking, just strips. It has that yellow flower looking thing on the front. Here's the best part. After smoking alot of good nugs with this pipe, it turned black behind the colors, not yellow gold, or purple/blue like the rest of the pipes out there. And as for pictures go, I broke my digi camera on vacation last year. Being very stoned sitting on the beach, dropped my camera in the sand. Never worked since. Getting a new one for x-mas this year from my in-laws, so pics soon.

 

yeah, that sucks man... I think the reason theyre so cheap though is maybe because they're the extra that they dont want to sell to the headshops (?). theres prolly something wrong with some of them, and maybe its a luck of the draw kinda thing.

 

nah that carb isn't cracked.....the girly friend was cleaning pipes the other day....must be some resin.

heres some recent pics of mine... looks much better in natural light, (the colors come out much stronger) and also I just scraped it a few days ago, so the top towards the mouthpiece looks kinda bad... but you get the idea. some people think its ugly, but I've grown to love this thing. its the Odyssey from nwga, by the way.
