sooo... just a question if anybody knows the answer - why 420? my mom was in amsterdam last year, and the clock in the tower is stuck at 420 - is that why? or did they make the clock read 420 on purpose? hmmmm....
I've heard a couple of reason, all of the urban legend ilk. One is that a group of college students always gathered together at 4pm after classes for a smoke up. By 4:20pm, they were turnin and burnin. The other story is that 420 is the LA police code for a pot bust. Don't know about the 'Dam.
