NM is alright. I live in Alb, moved here from Miami to go to graduate school. The open space is cool and you can drive about 20 min from anywhere and find some kind of trail, if you dig that kind of stuff. Definately more laid back than other states/cities. Jobs pay less but things are cheaper out here. The best apartments in Alb are the same price as shitty ones in Miami. Statistics about the state (top of all kinds of poverty lists) are slightly misleading because about half the population is rural, and that brings down the average. MKC
New Mexico is beautiful. i hope i can move there someday. i really like Taos. i really like the food in NM too. but for now i'm in North Carolina, i hope i can at least visit again sometime soon though.
I lived in Rio Rancho twice, but the first time I was in early elementary school and the second time it was late elementary school. I didn't have many good experiences in the school system, but there are so many beautiful places to see! I've really been dying to go back lately, I need to see the west again
Cloudcroft is where it is at!! Nice people virtually no red necks. The most beautiful place in New Mexico Dan
Rio Rancho gave Intel the biggest incentive to move there out of any city in the country. I'm in Albuquerque
hey ya'll. i'm in the cerrillos/madrid area. ortiz mountains. not too much longer though. hey staggerlee, surco over at the TSP. getting warmer around here!
There are a lot of dumb people in the rural parts of New Mexico. Hate to say it, but it's the freaking, painful truth.
Love New Mexico, From the state line by El Paso Tx up I-25 to the Colorado border, some pretty mellow country, love gettin stoned in New Mexico! Bustramp
There is a quirky beauty to a lot of the state, especially the central mountainous region. Some of the places here are so isolated it's as if it were the land that time forgot.
home is truth or consequences although i'm now in michigan.... i miss the desert & people like crazy!!
