Nude Around Clothed People

Hi!
I communicated with you folks about six years ago and asked a bunch of questions which were answered nicely.
If you remember, I am a blind person and I am now 84 years old, and I enjoy reading the sincere people on your website.
And I thought I'd ask another question or two.
Some of you have indicated that when you're at home, you're comfortable answering the door naked regardless of who is at the door. So my question is, have any of you, or do you sometimes go naked at peoples homes or in other situations where all others are clothed?

 

Not at peoples homes, no. But yes at the naturist club I belong to (which is really "clothing optional"). Particularly on a Saturday night people actually prefer to dress up, and depending who's there I have sometimes found myself to be the only naked person. Admittedly, that's not the same as being naked amongst normal society, but that is surely impossible.

 

Yes I have . It all started in my teens when I found that I enjoyed doing naked dares and just couldn't say no to a naked dare . My friends and partners have taken full advantage of this over the years and I have done some really crazy and risky things . When it comes to being the only one naked , I suppose one of the first was with my ex wife who was my girlfriend and we were both teenagers , she dared me to drive naked from where we lived in a small village to our nearest town which was a thirty minute drive in broad daylight . I had to put my clothes in the boot out of reach and when we arrived I had to get out open the boot and dress in full view of anyone in the carpark. I still drive naked a lot and if were going direct to a friends house in summer I will go nude . I always carry shorts in the car just in case . So yes I have been the only one naked on many occasions.

 

Well, one thing to consider is that there's a culture difference between nudes and textiles. Nudists are more egalitarian and don't consider it acceptable to evaluate people by their appearance. Textiles have never had that value. They expect that you make an effort to make yourself attractive. To do otherwise, to them, is disrespect. If you just take your clothes off like you would in a nudist environment, they're going to feel a bit weird because they've actually thought about what to wear today. By their values, you're way underdressed.

I suspect you could get this to work if you pay as much attention to your appearance in the nude as they do with their clothing. It took all of us years to learn how to dress the way we like to look. We do that automatically. In a nudist club, there's no expectation that you put any attention to appearance. Some do and others don't, but nobody says anything. It would take some time paying attention to appearance to be nude and fit in around textiles. In their world, they don't have the same body acceptance ideas that nudists do. They don't have the practice, either.

 

It happened to my last monday!
Usually working days the beach is too quiet and without nudist, only with few neighbors with their dogs and childrens... and last mondays wasn't the exception! I was the only naked!
A woman with their childrens (no more than 7 y o) looked shocked but she tolerate my presence. She and their childrens were clothed.

i sometimes do, but only if i feel like (temperature, mood ..) and i'm virtually certain the others don't mind. I guess nudism is something about joy, freedom and respect - and nothing about stubborness, dogma or forcing.

A couple of times I have been naked at friends homes while they remained dressed. All the times it was during the summer and it involed either using their pool or simply sunning on their decks. At least on one occasion I had one of them undress and stay naked with me.

 

Very rarely does this happen. But like *pixy* said earlier, as long as your certain everyone doesn't mind and is comfortable with it and you're not forcing it on anyone....and everything else she said.

 

We live next to and are members of a nudist resort. Many people in our community are also members there. The ones that are not nudists are accepting of the rest of us as we are them. Our community though is not clothes free. Inside our homes and in backyards they may encounter me or others nude. Yes... I have had conversation with clothed neighbors in my naked state on my property at times.

 

This happens in every college nudes painting class, and that's the way I started out.

My wife doesn't like being nude. But she actually encourages me to take my clothes off. She likes to see me this way. It even turns her on at times. And it turns me on being nude for her while she stays dressed. Not a bad result for a guy who hid his nudism for years from her thinking she'd think me odd. I guess she just likes me odd.

 

I am always the only naked one as all my friends and family are textile. Sometimes it can feel awkward if they don't know me but that's OK. I've seen wives scold their husbands for staring, salesmen squirm and fidget when they see my body, a handyman telling me my husband probably wouldn't want him seeing me like that, etc.

Yes, as a naturist I go nude at other people's homes, but only if they are ok with it, I certainly wouldn't if they didn't want me too. As an escort I am often nude when everyone else is dressed, usually at parties when I'm a stripper, being a naked butler, at CFNM parties, or summer garden/pool parties when the hosts don't mind how little people wear.

 

In a sauna many years ago which was clothes optional there were occasions when I was the only one nude. I moved house and now the place has closed down.

 

My husband encourages my nudity although I require no encouragement. I have been naked in front of neighbors, his friends and his workers. I love seeing their shocked looks as well as my fist time when I totally stripped naked and danced in a bar on amateur night on a dare from his brother. It's now common in his family's company. I love teasing guys and being naked.
There are many such episodes in my life and I love sharing them.

 

Way back in college, I would be the only one naked while staying at my then-gf’s apartment. She had three female roommates, and they didn’t mind one bit. I would watch movies with them, eat with them, and sleep naked while they were all always clothed.

On trips with my wife’s family, I’m usually the only naked naked as well.

It used to bother me that I’m the only one, but recently I kind of like it.

 

I enjoy being nude and have been around others who were not nude a few times. I'm naked when ever I can be and my wife tolerates my nudity.

 

That was my entire upbringing. When I was a toddler, my parents couldn't keep anything on me, so they just let me hang around naked. I think they thought I'd outgrow it, but I never did and they never stopped me. My younger siblings did it too when they were really young but outgrew it, and my friends sometimes would too but only in my room when it was just us, but most of the time I was the only one naked. Now I live with my boyfriend who I got into nudism, but I'm still naked at family gatherings.
