Holy shit.

 

Bah! thats nothing! Actually, one of the largest mushrooms in the world, if not the largest, is in yosemite and a bit outside of the park, a diameter of 25 miles.

 

i dont believe that for one minute. it would be hard to believe it was 25 METERS, miles is impossible. i need a picture.

Sorry, my mistake, it was actually in the Malheur Nat. Forest in oregon, covering 2,200 acres, and at least 2,400 years old.

I'm positive there is one in Yosemite, but not sure on the size, sorry

 

I think some of you are just talking about the stem and cap part, whereas others are talking about the 'whole' mushroomÑroots (mycae or whatever), cap, and stem

 

a triple decked cap.....sounds awesome....shrooms even if they are hallucinagenic, are fucking awesome. they grow so fast and look so cool

 

that thing in yosemite is NOT one mushroom. it is one fungus which makes a circle of mushrooms that gets larger every year. the largest one is somewhere in france i believe.

 

they live in the fucking rainforest do you think they own cameras? t
