Noticed I am picking stuff up with feet automatically now

I was just cleaning up and a paper towel was on the floor and without even thinking I grabbed it with my foot and passed it to my hand. No pre thought of let me try using my foot just the thought I need to grab that off the floor and it happened.

I always pick stuff up with my feet but its usually a second thought of 'don't hunch over use my foot' before doing it. Maybe because it was such an easy object ?

 

Hmm... I don't know. You absolutely had to be on something!

My left foot is very dexterous but I can't pick up anything with my right one though.

 

Been Doing This For Over 12 Years.....It's Great For Picking Up Dropped Tools.....Nuts And Bolts......

And Of Course Paper Towels......It's Just Like Another Pair Of Hands......

And Now I'm Getting Older It Beats Trying To Bend Down To Pick Stuff Up......

You forgot to mention how you walk on your hands and prepare dinner with your feet.

 

i pick stuff up with my feet all the time. i think this is probably the first time i've ever actually thought about it; typically it's just something i do when there's something to pick up.

 

It definitely becomes a 2nd nature, and an automatic reaction, once you get used to being barefoot all the time. I'd like it even better, if my leg joints weren't so stiff.

the whole argument about squished feet in uncomfortable shoes is bogus....my shoes are super comfy....timberlands...here on the farm I have the on right up until I go to bed where they sit right beside me and go right back on first thing in the morning.....pair of thick thick wool socks in leather boots is bliss to me

I did this the other day, lol picked up my nail polish bottle that fell on the carpet using my toes.

In every science fiction depiction of mankind's ultimate evolution into space travel everyone still wears shoes. Why would there be any need for shoes in aboard these space ships ? They always show everyone wearing shoes but there is nothing bad to step on anywhere. everything all carpeted, polished and fancy like a motor yacht. Its always climate controlled shoes/socks would just be a waste of time and you can't go outside anyway because of those pesky low temperatures and lack of air.

Futuristic movies always miss that.
