This enigmatically captivating yet gloriously short occurrence we call life has been good to me. I have come to realize that there are many moments in life that can be experienced as incisive and elevating. The trick is finding the moments when life is all but interesting and managing to cease them like the delicate and intrinsically beautiful encounter they really are. Life is simply what you make of it. Someone once said, “If you don't get lost, there's a chance you may never be found.” So, maybe that’s it, maybe I purposely got lost trying to find myself. But you know in the chaos of it all I recognized a bold truth. You don’t actually find yourself after all. Instead, it’s you that creates it. So here I am, a student of the mind, a servant to the stars, and a dreamer of dreams, on an ever changing voyage across a sea of majestic bittersweet moments in time. Like flowers in the wind We turn by the powers that be Mislay sunshine for rain Pleasure for pain An uncontrollable empathy At rains end, pains demise We shine once again Beneath warm blue skies All is not weathering doom For the sun and the rain Gives us our chance to bloom
That was OK, if a bit cliche. I preferred the long paragraph to the stanza below. I found the use of adjectives quite annoying and arbitrary, though.
