I live in Berthoud fondly dubbed b-town by those of us who live here. you probably only hear about us when someone is found dead in the high school or gets their legs chopped off by a train, but to many people we aren't even that, we are a ski resort, Berthoud pass...but we are NOT the ski resort. we are nowhere near it in fact. Has anyone else heard of my little town for reasons that aren't horrific or not really the town at all?
My first job in Colorado entailed some sports writing (a match made in hell) and I did mentioned Berthoud High from time to time.
So change of subject...are there any intentional communities in your area? Or possibly cheap fertile land? I'm looking to make a big move but not sure where yet. My goal is a sustainable lifestyle moderately or fully off grid.
