It looks like nobody is going to spend any time in jail for killing Freddie Gray in Baltimore, in April of last year. The police van driver (Caesar Goodson) has been found not guilty on all charges. This was the third trial related to the case, and this guy was considered to be by far the most likely to be found guilty of anything. Prosecutors are considering dropping all remaining charges against other officers, which are all lesser offenses.

Police are getting ready for riots tonight.

Cops get away with murder... Pun intended, even though it's not a joke.

No surprise the prosecution dropped the ball by giving multiple accounts of what might have happened.

The judge was very hard on the prosecution, saying that they presented almost no evidence at all.

Remember a year ago, when that new prosecutor was talking such a tough line, and everybody thought she was such a hero? All talk and no action.

Was there any rioting or protest overnight? I can't find anybody talking about any news today except the UK story.

Some anger, some protests. No rioting.
