I have a small bump in the inside of my nose. Actually, there is one bump inside each nostril. They are REALLY painful. Now, I know they aren't nose zits because they won't pop. They are hard and dry. My whole nasal passage is dry and the outside edges are dry too. These are the things I have tried so far... Vick's Vapo Rub Campho-Phenique Neosporin Hydrogen Peroxide Carmex Nothing is making any difference. They still hurt like a mother f**ker and are staying the same size. I have looked it up on the Web...found nothing. Seems all nose sores are of a pussy nature(I Know...ewwww). Mine are definately not moist. Any advice, ideas or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks to all! Below is a pic of the victim!
if they were external I'd suggest a hemroid cream because that obliterates any bump. Since it's internal, I would advise getting a humidifier for your room. you can get them for less than 5$ at a second hand shop. If nothing else you'll be less dry in the nose.
how long have you had them? I've had little cuts inside my nose before that scabbed over but were very very very sore still, and they were dry feeling as well. But they healed up within a week or two usually
Got one on the way home tonight. The first popped up on Saturday. The second popped up yesterday. I got an nasal gel called Ayr on the way home tonight. It is made with aloe vera. It says it's a nasal saline gel. So far it is making it moister. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.
you've had them less than a week? I wouldnt' stress about them too much unless they hang around for a ruddy long time
Can you get cysts inside your nose? One of my friends used to get them on her face... really big, sore, red, hard things that looked like zits but totally weren't. If you can get cysts inside your nose... well.. thats what they immediatly sounded like to me. Good luck though!
I don't think cysts unless she's prone ot them, thaat would restrict air flow pretty brutaly. I think the humidifier will help a lot over the next few days with the drynes to be sure. The trick it to mqake sure it's always full.
UpdateThe bumps are still there and still hurt like a bitch. But they are a bit smaller. No huge improvement overall.
