Two young soldiers and now a police man killed by gunmen in Northern Ireland. These are the first murders of this kind in 20 years. Members of the real IRA are claiming responsibility for the murders. 60 rounds were fired at the soldiers along with the MPGS.

Now most of the troops have been pulled out of Northern Ireland is it going back to the dark days?

An Irish comedian, I can't remember who, joked about how thanks to the Muslims, the Irish were no longer seen as terrorists, just funny little leprechaun people - or something to that effect. It's almost refreshing to see that terrorism isn't just that thing done by 'people with funny names who don't look like us'....

    almost.

but it's all still terroism and it means innocent people die. there racial identity is overshadowed intirely by the fact that they are mindless cold blooded killers. i couldnt care less whether they were straight, gay or australian. they are all the same to me. they are all terrorists and all wankers.

well its a war and war is just murder on a bigger scale

Murder in a uniform is heroic, in a costume it is a crime abbie hoffmann

some powerless people in Ireland targeting some kids who most likely couldn't get a better job so joined the army,
and if they "won" and the brits left the north of Ireland the supporters of the real Ira are still going to be powerless
actually from a money point of view it would be very easy to restart the troubles , arms sales are down people aren't scared of Islamic terrorism lets resurrect the IRA gives a good excuse for security cameras , and the army and exclusion zones around parliament

Not quite. Look how little support those killers received from the general public...and the consensus that has been maintained by politicians, that this is a stumbling block not a hurdle.

I meant bored kids probably wrote that message on the wall.
It was in red writing, and looked like it had been written by an 8 year old, right?
    Yeah, probably bored kids.
I was going for the mysterious short responses that day.
Perhaps not the wisest of things to do...lol.
Sorry, I don't make a habit of patronising people.

Nagh...having been patronised enough times I keep it down to the bare minimum. I guess it can be fun though, under the right circumstances.

Don't worry, you'll find the fun in it when you're older. :)
