veg: 6500k (coolwhite or daylight) flourescent bulbs (23w-100w equiv kind) : MH bulb (more expensive, but more powerful and efficient flower: warm white flourescents (not that effective) :HPS bulb. more expensive, but VERY good light spectrum
ur saying my cheepest possible option is: veg: 6500k, cool_white/daylight flourecent bulbs. flower: 6500k, warm_white flourecent bulbs. u said 23w to 100w. thats a wide range. does it matter what watt i choose. is brighter better? (fyi, im just gona be growing some LR2 in my closet)
i meant 23w lights, but they are commonly marked as 100w equivelant , or 100w replacements for old incandescent lights (dont use incandescents fyi)
In the past, growers used fluorescent bulbs to provide the necessary light for plants growing indoors. Now, we can use LED since it is fairly recent innovation, comparable to the compact fluorescent light bulbs now used for general lighting purposes. _____________________ Stand Alone LED Solar Lighting Adelaide
