I'm thinking about heading out to the nocfest in Austin, Tx for the first time. Anyone ever been? just curious to see what I'm in for. I've gone to a few festivals up north in the VA and WVA area. My girlfriend's never been to one so yeah, just tryin to get some experienced knowledge. whatever and such.
honestly never been. didnt realy plan on it. its not even in austin though. its in bumfuck rockdale maybe an hour out of austin about 10 minuts from where im at an i can guarentee that normally there is absolutely nothing cool/fun/interesting in rockdale.. on the other hand ive only heard about nocfest for the first time last week. ive seen many fests around this area and none were realy anything to get excited about, but none were advertised quite like noc fest.. anything in rockdale sounds like a disappointment but im actually kinda interested to see how that turns out. wish i had seen this post earlier. if its all outdoor music and fun your wantin theres Blues on the Green, a free summer concert series in zilker park that actually just ended last week. thats always a blast. check it out next year or San Marcos River Reggae Fest on sep. 6th my friend just now told me. supposed to be badass. ill be there
