So it has been a year since I have tripped, and even more than a year since I tripped on LSD. When I tried one blotter of LSD to test the waters so to speak, I was very disappointed in the experience, one of those signs of tripping without the mental engagement As this is the lowest dose I have tried (I usually aim for about 3+) I wanted to know if this was common? The dose was predicted to be 100ug-150ug on an Alex Grey blotter print. I'm positive it was LSD, trusted source, and clean and tasteless
if it was truly 100 ug or more of LSD, it would be enough to make me trip. i've had hits that i believe were ~150 ug and one of those was a pretty strong trip. two is a bit more out there, but i was never disappointed with one. but if you are used to taking 300 ug or more...maybe 100 ug would be sorta disappointing. i would be more inclined to guess that the hits are weaker than advertised though. 50 ug would probably give someone "signs of tripping without the mental engagement." maybe it was degraded? here's an alex grey blotter that has ganesha on the back, therefore referred to as "blue ganeshas" or mistakenly "blue shivas." they were advertised as ~150 ug but the ones i tried were weaker than that. someone else claimed they were actually 80-85 ug. one was kinda weak, so i took another within an hour...had a decent trip, not that strong. 3 years later i ate the remaining 3 and that was a solid trip. but didn't feel like 450 ug. do you think yours looked like this? Sounds like it may have been a lower dose, responses vary, many don't experience a 'trip' at 100 ugs and lower, although there is usually still an altered consciousness. I've taken 1 hit of acid once and that was suggested to be (~150 ugs) and I ended up candyflipping with that so not the best gauge of taking 1 hit. I have had a couple of weak hits before though, I definitely didn't find it a very desired state of LSD, although I could listen to music to kind of pass the time and stuff.
It was probably not 150 ug either because of false advertising or because someone mishandled it and weakened the dose. If the dose was accurate I would say your visuals might not have been overly intense but you should have had a nice mental experience. Unique thoughts, general euphoria, you would know it was working.
i agree ^ its probably not really 100-150 if you waited a year between trips i think a real 150 dose would of gave you a pretty nice trip from my experience in tolerance break at least..
I don't know about what you took---but the picture in your post is memorable to me, because i certainly saw people look like that AND MORE--much more-- when windowpane was involved in the 60s!

Gotta pry that third eye open again, that mid-brain area. It might have not been very active throughout the year. You gotta take a bigger dose, open it up. Then you can take the little doses again.
