Funny how the corporate world works. Okay, not so funny. First they buy pieces of land, but who can put a price on land? Then they labelled our marijuana as 'bad,' and try to take that from us too. We live in an unfair, unjust society but we are taught from birth that we are living "right." We are thrown disinformation, propaganda and LIES. We are taught not to question authority, but sometimes it needs to be questioned. Idiots who want to get high for the sake of, what, looking cool, doing something illegal? These are the people who are proving the governments' point that drugs are bad. Yes, they can be bad when people abuse them. People who get high and do illegal things are disrupting the public and making young people look bad. The government plays up these events and can then tell society that drugs made them do it. People who get high to be happy, and are not happy otherwise, are finding happiness in the wrong place. These people should be doing things to help their self-esteem, self-image, and happiness level overall. Sure they should still smoke weed if they want to, but should not base their entire day on smoking that happiness. I smoke weed because it is there for the smoking! Marijuana plants would not be on the planet for any other reason than to smoke! It is natural and does not harm anyone. When I smoke I sit outside and block out industrial noise. I relax and get in tune with my natural surroundings.
Actually marijuana plants exist on this planet for a variety of reasons apart from smoking...hemp can be made into so many different things such as textiles, cosmetics, paints, clothing, food products, fuel, medical purposes, etc. However now that you mention it...smoking it is definitly a dandy reason for it to exist. You are right my friend, we do not own the Earth for humanity is but a biproduct of the land. In a way, the Earth owns us all.
Yeah hemp is an awesome thing. If only the gov would allow us to use it to its full potential, it would save a lot of forests.

That's simpel. In 1916, someone invented a new manner to fully use the strong fibre of cannabis. You could make paper, textile, hardboard, ... at a very low price because cannabis grows easily and fast. But big companies and Edgar G Hoover knew there was more money to make by making paper with wood and textiles with artificial fibers. They provoked the people with propaganda that marihuana was bad for your health and the willing people accepted what the gouvernment said. yeah and the fact that they are trying to force speices of plants and mushrooms and cactuses in to extinction is ridiculous. particuarlly weed i mean its called that for a reason cuz it is literally a weed. it used to grow wild everywhere. there has to be somewhere that the gov't has missed where there is still just shit loads of it growing wild everywhere that has been their for decades.
yep, I know, But capitalism is tenthousand times more powerfull than peace-people. I mean, 99% of the people want to be rich, and the rulers of the world know that they can do almost everything they want, if they give those riches to the people. They can only "give" it when the capitalistic economy grows, and its better for the paper and plastic making factories not to make goods with cannabis fibre. Don't forget about the war on drugs: 3/4 of the people in American jails is there because they used drugs. Make the drugs legal in USA and the economy collapses: police-officers and jailers lose their job, no more money by confiscations, ... But the most important reason: people start to think about the world when they use (certain) drugs.
