No More Selling America!

I have heard today that China is cashing in bonds from America worth trillions of dollars to buy American companies. It seems like other countries are buying up all of america. Alot of companies are also moving to Mexico and other places where they can get cheap labor and then you add to the fact all the illegals coming over here and taking American jobs away in the process. They need to have a law so buisness developed in America has to stay in America and start cracking down really hard on companies that hire illegals. I would also put a rather large terriff on products made over seas, and put more of a limit on what is alowed over here, this would give back more buisness to our American companies. The way things are going we might as well stamp a large forsale sign across the United States. Lets face facts our government does not care about the American people.

 

Thats sad, how we're practically supporting sweatshop labor. American companies are so greedy and its almoast as if they dont notice the consequenses.

Not only are we selling our businesses and lands to other countries AND supporting slavery while creating more poor folks at home, we are selling off our natural resources to other countries as well. Mountaintop removal is big business and much of the coal mined like this is going to places like China... I see certain states of the USA eventually becoming one big playground for the rich with the poor and the un-white as slaves, while other states become massive landfills, clearcut timber farms, and enormous mining and drilling fields. It's already happening. Countries are becoming too interdependent. If there were a WORLD emergency of some kind and imports/exports ceased, we would not be able to take care of own needs... Nobody would.

 

It is indeed sad. But that's the chance you take when you openly invite known villains into a greedy, capitalist free market. We don't have to buy their slave-made product, but we do. They don't have to finance our illegal, immoral wars in the Middle East, but they do.

no so sorry it is not that easy! we did not sell our natural recorces our elected officials DID without our permision and every one of them should be held accountable for fraud amongst outher more serius charges, regardless of when they served there term! these pepole have no right to sell our natural resorces with out our permission!! it is not theirs to sell!! and in the long run it wont matter a bit, we use our might to negate any treaty we sign! i still want someone to tell me what treaty we as a nation have kept? time to take back and force our elected officials to act in a way that reflects our INTEGRITY,

I was simply stating that these morons sold bonds to and took out loans from China to finance their unwinnable war and now China wants to call in the loans and cash in the bonds. They gave away our nation for the sake of securing oil and saving family face.

PS: You can't force officials WITHOUT integrity to bend to the will of their "constituency". They just don't grasp the concept. The fundamentalist Muslim world doesn't seem to see that what is going on is NOT the will of the American people as a whole. They don't see that this was NOT our doing. They only see that we are all infidels, that we are evil, that we are occypying their lands and that we must all die.

Yup been accepting loans to live like we want to from the devil instead of living within our means. Not just the goverments fault it is the people who would not make changes in thier lives too.

I was smart enough to change my life so now I have no debt, just willing to do what I had to do.

Wasn't NAFTA which passed under Clinton and now expanded by Bush with his SPP supposed to lead the US and the North American Continent into prosperity? Isn't it?

If it isn't why haven't we forced our congress to repeal NAFTA, it was sold to us on the premise that if it didn't work it could be repealed. Why aren't any of the candidates talking about that possibility?

 

Is there such a thing as an American company? I don't think so. Nader tried to wake the people up to the fact that we were becoming used by corporations. But no what people remember about him is that possibly he denied Gore the Nobel Lauriate the presidency...Gore denied himself the presidency.

The US citizenry has sold out. Our constitution provided us with checks and balances, but we sold them out for a promise that our retirement accounts will allow us to us retire early if we vote for HMOs, tort reform and free trade. No one is accountable anymore. NAFTA is thought of as a done deal, but it can be rescinded. And should be. The SPP project should be stopped in it's tracks.

Why should workers have to be accountable but corporations are given a pass? If I have to pay upfront then so should Blackwater, Carlyle, Haliburton and Bechtel. Either no one has a pass or the little man is the first in line for charity. Why shouldn't the employer provide health care to it's employees?

 

Did HMOs reduce your insurance costs? Did making your kids wear helmets when riding bikes, or buckling up in your car reduce your costs? Did invading Iraq reduce your price at the gas pump or bring democracy or remove terrorism from that country? Did NAFTA reduce the number of illegal immigrants?

What do you think the SPP is going to bring you? It's made Rumsfield and his bird flu cronies rich, but what exactly has it done for you? Did it enrich the lives of those displaced by Katrina? What about tobacco, there are less people using it, but have you seen your insurance costs go down? No we are funding child services with taxes on it. What happens when no one uses it? Who funds those costs?

Time to ask the big questions of people like Hillary and Guilliani.

 

What protections do any of us have from contaminated products imported by corporations? Who received payment for the dead pets from the pet food received from China.

Who's going to pay for the increased incidence of autism in our children from toys laced with lead based paint imported from China. Where is all this security we are paying for?

 

Why is global warming in the forefront, while more immediate threats are denied or ignored?

 

Why havent we forced congress, Congress does not listen to us, they are paid off by big corporations to do there crooked dirty deeds. Voting does not count either because thats all fixed, the american people are screwed no matter what way we turn. A lot of people out there are to ignorant to wake up and see this.

 

The PRESIDENT of the WV Board of Educations says all our children should learn CHINESE...

 

And that's why I'm moving to Calhoun County, WV, cuz them are some thinkin hillbillies out there! Such vision!

 

They're selling us out, no doubt, and our kids and grand kids will be paying back the chinese investors who are backing our national debt for years to come, thanks to our government, and our credit happy economy. The only rich people will be those multi-national "Americans" who have no ties to any government, economy, or reality, and are willing to get paid for the sell out.

Hillbillie territory's probably the best place to be in that event, even if they buy us out, 'aint no chinese bazillionaires interested in hangin' out in the woods...

'Course there won't BE any woods if our government sells out our natural resources along with everything else.

 

But if our kids spoke their lingo I could sell them some weed and wood carvings. I mean, they might be hardline party members but it will still be a free market society after the Chinese foreclose on America, right?
