no bubbler :( but i like what i got!

picked up both of these at a headshop today, $40 total i think the smaller one was $26 and the bigger one was...$13


i was going to get a bubbler but i was afraid it wouldnt survive the plane ride... plus both these pieces will fit in my pocket so i wont have to worry about security. the smaller one is for me (in place of the bubbler, but i'm getting one when i get back to philly) and the bigger one is a birthday present for my friend. i need a name for mine though.

 

Giving the better bowl to your friend, that's nice.

Yea the small one looks thicker and might be more aesthetically pleasing.

I just don't like hitting them small bowls. How big would you say it is?

yeah, its pretty small. and im giving my friend the bigger, cheaper one, so idk if you guys think its better or not haha. i should have gotten him a different one... there was this sick orange one but i forgot that there was a 25% discount so i got scared i was spending too much money. oh well, i think he'll like the one i got him, cause the one he has now is really shitty.

im sure its very different from how it was 40 years ago, but theres something awesome about buying a piece on haight street in my mind.

 

im pretty sure id be happy if someone gave me that pipe haha

I think in Canada we have cheaper prices. Because I could go out and buy that small pipe for 2.99 and the other for 4.99

I know it sounds ridiculous but it's true lol. Although the pipes that look like that here are really thin. If those pipes you got are thick it would be a totally different story.

 

i wouldn't have paid 26 for that small of a pipe (just cause small pipes are a bitch on the nose/eyebrows), but it looks coolio, good price on the bigger one as long as it isn't ridiculously thin glass

 

Actually I know the bigger one is extremely thin because my friend had one named Ruffis Xavier Sasparilla. Or Sass for short.

 

the smaller one is much thicker, but they are both thicker than they look. i think its cause theyre both sorta clear

be careful. especially since you're a girl. those little pipes can fuck up your hair. My hair isn't as long as yours and i've gotten some unexpected hair"cuts" in my day..

well my hair usually isnt all in my face but my friend has lit my hair on fire before... it was only a few strands so it wasnt noticable. im used to using apples though so im used to having a lighter right next to my face haha

 

ive never used an apple pipe...i think i want to keep it that way...lol

i think the tiny pipe i have is smaller than the small one you got and i dont think ive ever lit my hair on fire ...atleast not yet haha
