    'Mad world'

You could do the tears for fears original (upbeat) ..

Or the more slow tempo 'cover' that was a xmas No. 1

Depends if what the crowd is going to be like ?.

oh college rock band...maybe not ?.

Oh man, I know someone on a guitar forum where this came up... does it have to be modern singles? Try to keep it something you like, but also something the crowd will appreciate, but don't try to just focus on the crowd and sellout to their tastes either. If you don't keep your own inspiration, they won't buy it. It's a mutual relationship.

Billboard and Rolling Stone keeps a chart for college music, lately I believe Iron and Wine has been up there, but I'm not sure if they've had a #1 up there... so, a little more specific?

it doesn't matter what style of music really provinding its a little bit of a crowd pleaser i guess, but other than that providing its a NO1 then it should be ok, does this answer your question?

Yeah, that should be fairly easy, I guess. I was thinking it'd be more specific.
