well, i didnt see alot of backround info on some stuff such as the war on drugs being racist, but you did make alot of good points and I believe marijuana should be legal especially for religion if nothing else. good stuff by the way, very interesting to read your story
basically i dont think you can call it a racist war unless it is based on only those in the religion that are being punished, and for that matter yes it would be racist (more so religious intolerance). But in other respects all people regardless of race are being unfairly controled by the governments laws. Keep it up man, and I have no doubt that you will until the day you die, and thats the strongest belief possible
okay, i read that and see where u are coming from when I think of my reasons for wanting weed legal, they are all less important than religion. i heard about your site on the news, i think it was cnn or some thing like that, and this guy on there was being an asshole and ripping on you, im not sure if you saw it but it was brutal.

Yes the war on drugs is racist, because the government released hard drugs into ghettoes in america to destroy peoples. The notion of 'drugs' is used to demonize other races, as far back as drug prohibition has existed. It is also a class war. You can explain why for days but I hope you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. njweedman: I saw a video of you smoking a joint peacefully and blowing it in a cop's face, and not letting them have your j. Interesting way of getting attention for a good cause IMO. I don't think the government is going to budge on this issue though... marijuana prohibition is far too profitable. Have any of you ever checked out Jack Herer's book The Emporer Wears No Clothes... good stuff that every activist should be in tune with. I think by attacking the globalization movement, corporatism, the religious right, the anti-medicinal marijuana movement and anti-environmental movements we have a far better shot at legalizing marijuana than by simply being pro-legalization. There is so much tied into marijuana prohibition ranging from hemp laws to corporate interests that I think the fight is a lot bigger and more complicated than most of us think. I did a small part today by Voting although many pro-marijuana initiatives never hit Florida ballots... instead its important to focus on a new governor since Jeb is out of the race and to focus on things like Initiative 3 which limit the right of a majority rule on important propisitions that may arise... which means if we do spark a medicinal marijuana initiative in the next 2 years by voting NO on initiative 3 we up the chances of it getting passed... majority rule vs. a 60% vote.
