I've just had a lovely experience. I offered some things on Freecycle. The person came to pick them up, and after the hand off/goodbyes, I shut the door behind, and within a few moments, I hear the letterbox open and I discover a personalized handmade card waiting for me, thanking me for my generosity.
Such a lovely gesture, and it's made me smile big :D and made the day seem a lot brighter.

Has anyone done something nice for you lately?

    I'm nice.

I feel bad for you, if you never encounter nice people. Must be sad. :(

I guess that is nice. :)

Today I had something nice happen, and then did something nice in return.
I'd left a note the other day for my neighbours because their dog had been barking a lot when they were out (3 hours straight) and I just couldn't take it anymore. Today, I received a lovely letter of apology from them, which was rather unexpected but very nice.

So, in return, I took over half a loaf of banana bread and 6 blueberry muffins to them, for being such lovely people that they'd apologized so much for their dog barking.

    Yay! Swimming is fun. :)

I love this too! On my walk today I tried to smile at the people I passed by. Sadly, I was met with more grimaces than smiles though.

I do make the effort to give ppl smiles...cos i now at times it makes me happy when people smile or say hello to me...

    Tho like u I do get odd looks…its just a smile:D

Heh, I wiggled my arms and legs about on the floor for about 30 seconds and as soon as we got in the pool Fingermouse swam so fast I could barely keep up with her so it wasn't really teaching as such:biggrin:

    Strangers saying hello is lovely.

I spent hours helping my boyfriend with some tax return stuff until he shouted at me for not knowing something and said my best wasnt good enough. Hmm.

That's not very nice. That should go in the 'mean' thread.
I wouldn't help him ever again if he's going to be so wicked.

Getting random messages or texts with lots of love in them, is always nice. :)
