Anyone here in Nicaragua or thinking of moving here?

I've lived here now for 5 years, sure beats TicoLandia (Costa Rica) where I also spent 5 years.

I have the possibility of a job working for a bank providing low intrest loans to farmers there. I'm still not sure about all the details of living there ( language barrier etc.) I would love to know some more information from someone that lives in Nicaragua. How are the people/laws/gov. etc in your experience. I live in Maryland on an organic far but want to move to a tropical friendly country as I disagree with the direction America is moving.

They have a REALLY low murder rate compared with other Central American nations. Still about three times the US murder rate- but nothing as bad as the rest of the region.
