I’ll be in Delaware a bit today, matter of fact. Will take the opportunity to buy cheaper cigarettes.

That’s pretty much the only thing Delaware has going for it, far as I know. No sales tax.

  3. !!!!!
Take a picture of ole Delaware :fearscream::fearscream:

I'm a Connecticut native. I've also lived in Maine twice. Despite that, I hate ALL Boston market sports teams, with the Pats first and the Red Sox an extremely close second. It's bad enough the Red Sox are baseball's World Champions. We don't need to have 2004 all over again (Pats won Super Bowl XXXVIII that February while the Sox won their first World Series in 86 years).

GO RAMS!! (I'm a Miami Dolphins fan, just so you know. New England is my arch enemy.)

As for a picture from Delaware? Does this count? The welcome sign and the U-DE campus sign are by Newark while the others are Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. Pictures were from June of 2014.

  6. I like those welcome signs, and I like how they emphasize the tax free shopping thing.
    Would visit. Would shop.
Thanks for posting Delaware pics :)

@McFuddy Did you see? No texting while driving!

I was a passenger in the two pictures from Newark, DE...just so you know! That state is also known for its banking laws. The only famous player I'm aware of which went to U of DE is Joe Flacco, QB of the Baltimore Ravens. He has a ring from Super Bowl XLVII...the game which had a partial power outage at the New Orleans Superdome against the San Francisco 49ers.

Approaching Wilmington on I-95 North that hot late spring June day...

I love the Yankees. Have since 1981. I've been to the current Yankee Stadium three times so far (CitiField for the Mets last September...my only visit there). As for football, I went to the old Foxborough Stadium once. That was in week 3 of the 1989 season. Seattle beat the dreaded Patrtiots 24-3. Of course, the Pats sucked back then. Man was that stadium a f-----g DUMP! I don't ever want to set foot in Gillette Stadium. EVER! Bad enough I've been to Fenway Park three times in all.

New England is a 2.5-point favorite over the Rams in the super bowl and the over-under is 56.5.

Hmmmm.... Never heard it pronounced "Oregahn" before.

Folks east of the Mississippi usually pronounce it Or-E-gone. This is wrong. It's pronounced Or-ehh-gun.
