Ah, so much to say. My name is hannah (Gypsy) if you'd like. I'm a young hippie. I believe that just because I am not from the 60's, doesn't mean i'm not a hippie. Each generation has it's own group of hippies and I wish to find more people who believe and understand my interests. I don't believe in education, family, age, the govermnent, everything. I've even lost a bit of faith in humanity itself. I'm a super loving person, always try to keep positive, and i love me some marijuanaaa I do infact have a better half, she just so happens to be my bestfriend. Flowerchild, as we call her, is who got me into being a hippie. She's now off exploring the U.S. living out life as a hippie which i wish to do someday. So please, don't be afraid to ask questions, give advice, relate, make conversation, anythings welcome from my fellow hippies
Well education, I don't think it determines anything. I mean there's 12 years of your life already planned out for you set aside for school. 12 years that aren't yours! And family...I believe everyone is a family. Therefore you shouldn't be held in one household until you're a certain age. That age limit was put there because of the select amount of people who NEED limits, and rules and such to get by. And age...oh boy. You know, years and years ago there was no set age to leave the house, you were raised to be able to do things on your own at a young age. That's proof that we have the capability to do so, once again, some things are made just for those who NEED it. Life should be abundant in all areas
Welcome to the Forum Hannah! Sadly, I've never been to Colorado. I know somebody in Castle Rock, if that counts!
Reading your other posts, it sounds like you're in the Grand Junction area? I'm sure it's beautiful there anyways. I've lived in a small town before (Wells, ME), so I know the feeling.
I believe that education itself is a beautiful thing that we take for granted. I believe it shouldn't be enforced in one established area, because then there's a conglomeration of teenagers who are mostly ignorant fools, thus making it so that every teenager survives by clinging to groups of like-minded people. They don't even really truly have those ideas or beliefs, they're just trying to survive. It takes young vulnerable minds in, and contaminates them socially for years. Home schooling is the best way to go in order to keep your kids from going through that and being identical to every other person in their generation. A lot of people are strong enough to stand on their own, but that's a rare gift people have either been given or found within themselves through personal strife. I have the latter. at this point I tell ignorant people at school to believe I don't exist, so as to keep ME from dealing with THEM. Luckily I'm graduating in a few months and traveling across America. Pursuing my passions for music, art, love, living, and growing.
