yo whats good, i have recently decided to grow shrooms i have grown bud and tunred out great ive been looking at websites and understand the basic proceedure im most concerned on what strain to choose. I have heard B+ is very good any insight on good strain to start with? And how long can i except the shrooms to fruit from beginning to end? And any1 have good ideas for a newbie growing to shrooms like what type of substrate to use and what kind of terriuam i should use i was thinking about a 2lt. soda bottle for each seprate cake Thanks peace keep blazin
I would ne'er grow them myself of course, but I hear that B+, cambodian and golden teacher are all good for first timers. you should get first fruits within a couple of months and second and third flushes for another few weeks after that. BRF (brown rice flower) and vermiculite make good cakes and you can get away with not having a pressure cooker if you use this substrate. Clear plastic boxes with lids made good cheap fruiting chamber. Most people use wide mouthed jam jars for the individual cakes. If you google for "PF tek" you will find loads of detailed guides. Also lots of videos on youtube. Read and watch as much as possible before you start and don't be tempted to skimp on sterile techniques and all should be well. Best of luck.
