Hi everyone, just recently discovered this place, seems like a great little community. A little about myself...born and raised in California, currently living in the Sierra foothills. I'm a big craft beer guy, love taking trips to the river and recently started up boxing after a 10 yr hiatus from combat sports (Judo and Muay Thai in my teens/early 20s). Love craft beer. Grew up in Florida drinking swill (bud, miller, etc) not know what real beer was supposed to taste like before moving to the Pacific NW. Now I'm a beer snob..
Hello, love these forums. I lived in CA before moving to WA but now AZ (but miss WA most) as I miss 4 seasons, trees, grass, cooler temps, I'm married with 4 grown kids. My hubby and daughter used to make home brew, we just don't have space to keep it up, our favorite was pear cider though because I'm not a beer person. I'm always up for chatting since I don't work and get bored
I lived in 5 spots in CA started at the bottom in Corona and we moved our way up to Costa Mesa &Concord
Do a little googling, they're using ultrasonic frequency (think jewelry cleaner) to artificially age spirits, doesn't have to sit around as long taking up space. Also, do yourself a favor and make a batch of mesquite pod wine and go from there if you still have a still around
