I personally don't like synthetic dreads, imo if you want to have dreads it should be with your own hair.
But if you like them then go for it

I'm not sure how single ended dreads are attached, but double ends are usually attached by getting a piece of hair, splitting it in two, and plaiting it together

I've never made synths but they look good compared to the ones I've seen. I'm pretty synths are installed by taking a piece of your own hair and pulling it trough that loop on the synth dread, then you wrap your own hair around the synth while attaching it with those tiny clear plastic elastics. I could be wrong though.

Those look really good, I personally would never dread my hair. I have very long straight hair, and I love it the way it is. So something like this would be perfect for someone like me. :) Good job hun!

    They aren't dreads.

    They are twisted fake hair.

    I'm so technical.

Synthetic dreadlocks are vile. Replicas of something meant to be natural and chaotic. A perversion of nature itself, like plastic vines, or wax fruit.

It still boggles me how people can get so far up their own arse about a hair-do.

Your synths look fine. Rock em hard and ignore the puritans.

It's not the same hair-do. That's the point we're trying to make.

Say I took the time to grow my hair all the way to the floor. Say some chick glues floor length hair to her scalp. NOT THE SAME THING.
