Newbe from Kenner Louisiana Bra

I've been lingering for a wile and even posted a few times. I don't claim to be a hippie but a lot of the values you older hippies have I grew up with . and have held onto . I don't think my parents were hippies they are to old for that generation . but then again My dad had a beard all wile I was growing up and wore a bandana and sandals,my mom was always growing vegetables in the back yard, we went camping very often because my parents loved the out doors. mom made a lot of my cloths . My dad was always helping someone as trade for one thing or another. Ma be they were just doing the main stream thing at the time and im just reading into it to much . but I figured I would see if I could make a few new friends here. I have an opinion and am not scared to share. Im not a real political person that stuff hirts my head. I quit my job because I hated working for corporate America. And now work for my self on my terms . I give every one a chance but I can smell bull a mile away. especially if you are talking to me face to face. I get fust at for it from a friend but Im wright 99 present of the time and she hates that I can see it so quickly. I have more to say but I feel im rambling on with my first formal post .

 

For a bunch of one love nonjudgmental hippies yall aren't that open armed. not one welcome in 2 weeks. sheesh tough croud.

 

A lot of us don't regularly check this section. I never even made a thread of this kind. This one just got my attention because of the title. I'm surely one of a very small number of people here who know where Kenner is, and what it is. Anything about the NO area gets my attention.
