Oh, I should mention that to contribute to the new page you must join the UK member group. There's a link under the UK Group menu, and it's painless. We are accepting everyone at this time.
Page looks awesome, and I'm touched by the honourable mention. Will I be able to edit the front page and spotlight others? Also, how will I be able to approve group memberships? Will it work the same way as before?

Nah, it's not the new forum, it's just where people can publish articles and such, sorta think of it as the main page of a newspaper sort of.. argh, my brain is dead.. it's too late so sorry if that didn't make sense.. >_>
No the forum pages should remain as they are in keeping with the rest of the site. This will just incorporate links to the forums with all the new features. You don't have to use it to navigate the forums....
I've tested the review feature with a review of a Levellers album I wrote for Counter Blasts in 2005. Really I should have posted it under Music Reviews section, but I didn't see the subcategories at the time. Is it possible for me to move reviews from the general category into the relevant section? Also, would it be possible to incorporate into the review submission process a feature that lets you set which category it will fit, as I expect many people will miss that feature at first glances....
