Let me extend the welcome mat. I just recently found “The Hip Forums” myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to “Flame” you, that’s not tolerated here. From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, kick back and stay awhile.
ive noticed...im liking how open this forum is...ppl r really nice here. most of it is that America 'niceness' that u wont find on other forums again thanx 4 the welcome

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. I just signed up for this site, I can't believe it took this long to find people like me online. A lot of you are probably just like me and feel that you were born in the wrong era. Ever since I was little my mom always told me that I was an old soul and that I was a hippie, born in the wrong time. I grew up listening to Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Dead, The Door, The Beatles, etc... Even though its not considered COOL, I still love my flare leg jeans, bell bottoms, clogs, tunic tops, tye dyed, bandanas, the list goes on and on. I love the 60's and 70's and not a day goes past that I'm not sad that I didn't have the experience to actually participated in them. So I make it up any way I can, and that's ok. Hope to hear from some of my fellow friends. Peace.
