I recommend Tim Gearan's new album, "Riverboat". It's not in iTunes yet, but it will soon I think. I've seen him live a dozen times this year as his hot band plays these new songs. His genre is Rock-Blues-Americana. Great voice and horn section. Tim is a local favorite here in the Cambridge, MA area.

Jake Bugg has got to be my favorite new artist I've listened to this year. and Yuck. Yuck is a great indie band with an early 90s shoegaze vibe.. if you are/were into that particular music scene. I think their first album came out last year but I only just recently discovered it..
