The manufacturing of boeing's starliner which may occur in South Carolina will naturally be a part of a new Space Economy Corridor which is being built from Alabama to Wallops Island. This will be an essential piece. I would love to imagine a 385 ft wing Stratolauncher lifting off from a long runway here. Although it's not altogether clear whether this will be purely a 1st Generation launchport with sole emphasis on vertical launch capability.
