Hello My family and I are heading to New Mexico on Wed until Fri. Got any recommendations of things to do out there? We will be in the middle to upper portion of the state. How is the weather? Is it too cold to camp? We are an earthy folk, and really dont want to spend too much money. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Cosmic Butterfly
Hello. It has been damned cold at times lately. We'll have a more typical nice day and then dark and cold, and the nights are freezing. Of course I've been here a long time from Michigan so I am not used to the cold anymore, but of late it has been more wintery here. Not sure what part of the state you're actually going to, but I really like Roswell a lot. I spend a lot of time in Albuquerque and Roswell feels like a bigger version of a small town. It is warmer there, too, and Las Cruces is nice, too.
