My husband landed a job out here and we decided to take the pulnge without even a visti! We moved with our little ones to the SW Portland area in late March. It's hard moving from a place where you know so many people and can find whatever your looking for to a place where you know NOBODY and have zero connections. It's been a big adjustment, but in the end we know were doing the right thing. We a loving everything we have seen or done so far!
It would be great to find some people or even families that are down to Earth, hillarious, fun, enjoy adult beverages, and like embrassing nature to it's fullest! I look forward to hearing from you.

Every Sunday afternoon (people start gathering around 5pmish) under the Salmon st bridge in Portland, there is a drum circle (SW Salmon street, if you take it to the river, under the overpasses there, Vera Katz park).. you can't miss it...amazing drum circle EVERY WEEK!!!! there you will meet alot of Rainbow hippies.

Also: here is the number to the NW Tribes Lightline, there is a drumcircle/potluck every second Sunday in Portland, if you call the number, they will tell you where and give directions plus other events happening.

Hey there, my fiance and I are doing the same here in a few weeks and will be n Portland on November 18th. We are also looking for some knew heads out that way who can help us with a place to stay for a week or two while we get our bearings. We will have income for a month or two while we fnd jobs and get our own place. If you could help us out or at least give us some info we would greatly appreciate it. Maybe a ride from the train station? Well let us know if you would like t get to know us. We will need friends. We are kind and respectful people, funny and intelligent. Hope to hear from u! Much love and blessings to you.
