I don't know what you guys think about this so I'm just going to suggest it and if you'd like to help the post will be called "But Mom..." I read tonight someones post saying their mom would not allow them to have dreadlocks. It made me wonder if sometimes parents have misconceptions or not about them (which I'm sure they do). I thought it would be a good idea to make a list of reasons of good things and de-bunk some commmon misconceptions about dreadlocks kids can inform their parents on when they are trying to convince them to let them make this descision. Good or bad idea? It could open some eyes up to! We might help a kid realize this may not be the right choice for themselves afterall...
