new hand~dyed yarns

    Thanks :) They actually turn out to be some good colours for the summer.... Hand-dying is so much fun... I can't wait to get another batch of yarn to colour!

    Lovely work, I love the colors you used... Where did you get the raw wool? I ask because I no longer eat animal products and have found myself shying away from wool since I stopped. If I could find a good small-scale, free range sort of farm where wool is sheared from happy sheep in the summer I might go back to it. :)

    Thanks :) I'm quite partial to it myself, I'm actually kind of proud of how it turned out. :)

    Some of my wool I buy at Michaels' craft stores, some I find on ebay. I couldn't tell you if it came from free-range sheep or anything, although I too would like to find that sort of thing!
