Hey, just curious about home-made pieces. I know we have all had (and some of us still have) home-made pieces we love. Maybe you couldn't afford a glass pipe or you had a creative bent. But I just want to share. I know my favorite home-made piece was a bong made from a bubble lamp. It was a lamp full of water and bubbled. (imagine that), there were also little fish that floated in there. I used a door stopper with a sink screen as my pipe and we'd turn off the lights and hit it in the dark. My finest hour. haha, good topic.. i made a bong with a soda bottle/hose and a cone and cone adapter from an old pipe, add sealent and epoxy glue and you got a pretty mean bong! hell i sprayed mine gun-steel blue with silver speckles cause i was going all out!! but im bored of that and now im designing a 3 stage homemade ice/water (expansion chambers can hold ice and water depending on what you wanna use it for) bong atm and am going into concept stages right now, in fact im getting the gear i need to begin the prototype tommorw (cheers for uni holidays = free time!), my first bong was called heavy metal, this is going to be called something to deep, so epic, itll throw your mind off on some tangent youll be thinking about it for days, maybe even months... im looking forward to it and itll be something to hand on to my mates when i give up smoking in a few weeks.. then maybe when i pick it up again down the line ill get it back off my mates.. now that would be a good story. yooooooo!~~~~
My favorite homemade piece is a dual chamber bong i made about 6months ago. Don't use it very much, but it's fun to smoke out of every now and again. I made it out of a small Folger's Coffee Aroma Seal container, some camel-bak tubing, a 20oz soda bottle, a stem and a slide out of an old bong. fill up the first chamber with ice water (aroma seal container), and fill up the second chamber with super hot water (20oz soda bottle). Works pretty damn good and super cheap/easy to make. - 42o -
wouldnt the first chamber have the hot water and the senond have the ice water... that way the hot water filters it and the cold water cools it before you smoke it
I was wondering if someone was goin to catch that......yes thats the way it should be but trying to cram ice cubes down the mouthpiece of a 20oz soda bottle tends to be a pain in the ass.......so i just switched them around and it works just as good. - 42o -
