hi, im new to growing and if im being honest i really havent got a clue!! me and my friend decided to plant some seeds for a laugh and they started to grow, at first we used the sunlight through the window but during the winter months we decied to tie a 70w sodium bulb under my dj deck stand and stick the plants under there for the time being on a timer light, they're now 4 months old. we have it on for 8 hours a day at the moment and the plans are in pots with miracle grow compost and so far they're doing great, one of the plants was starting to grow downwards and back towards itself if you can picture that but since its been under the light its growing alot better, looking more proud for want of a better phrase lol one plant is about a foot and half high with the other not far behind now my questions are : 1. when do plants start to flower roughly? 2. what is the best soil to use at this stage? 3. will they be ok in an open room or do they really need to go into a confined space?
